“Life and Works of Emily Dickinson”
Come out to WNL on April 15th for a very exciting look into the life and works of Amherst’s very own EMILY DICKINSON.
Emily Dickinson lived all her life (1830-1886) in Amherst. Yet from the large windows of her bedroom in the family Homestead, she observed a world as vast as her imagination, creating almost 1800 poems, many of them now considered among the greatest in the English language. “I see New Englandly,” she wrote. With the guidance of our guest speaker, Amherst poet and author Susan Snively and the help of a beautifully crafted video, edited and produced by Ernest Urvater, we too will see ‘New Englandly.’ And what do you suppose Emily ate in the beautiful home on Main Street? We’ll have to wait and see! Invite your friends and neighbors to join us for this very special evening.
Dinner Cost: $5 adults; $3 children; $18 Family max | First-timers are always free!
Dinner Reservations: call the church office, 253-2977
